Lichen Planus, Pemphigoid, both Bullous and Mucous Membrane and Pemphigus Vulgaris most frequently, sometime most protractedly and most severely, present and affect the oral mucosa. This presentation will review the evaluation, diagnosis, investigations with an emphasis
on the management of these chronic immunological conditions with regards to their oral manifestations and complications. This will also entail a recap on the basics of oral examination and anatomical and histological landmarks of the oral cavity and its differing types of lining mucosa.
